If you recognized the animals in this picture as two shrimp having sex you’re on your way, but if you recognized it as actress Isabella Rossellini dressed as a shrimp to illustrate how these crustaceans mate, then you’re on the money. The image is from her hit web series “Green Porno” and illustrates perfectly why Isabella is one of our favorite stars to work with — she’s got a sense of humor we can really get behind.

That’s why we’re looking forward to 92YTribeca’s Recognizing the Animal program on Wednesday, April 4 in NYC. It’s a part of 92Y’s Flaherty NYC: The Lives of Animals series, which consists of three evenings spent exploring the intersection of animals, film, and culture.

For the April 4 program, Isabella will be joined by fellow animal-obsessed filmmaker Sam Easterson and moderator Cynthia Chris to talk about the place of animals in modern media: everything from cat videos on YouTube to wildlife documentaries to — of course — Isabella’s own “Green Porno” and “Seduce Me” series.
